Do all good dancers kiss the floor with the hill when lowering?

How about "heel"? (Sorry, couldn't resist. Cheers!)

Are you asking about lowering on the '3'? Your weight has to come down on to the heel because your next step is a heel lead. Impossible to do if your weight is still on your toes.

No, I am referring to how long you stay on the heal before moving back or forward on lowering on beat thee of the Natural Turn for example. There are two different techniques much depending on training and the strength of your ankles. It also involves at what point you start to move the free leg. I am interested in knowing what number of top dancers kiss the floor with the heal for example, transfer their weight as soon as the heal touches the floor and not lowering further on that heal before moving of it. Cheers Dave
