Don't confuse sequence swings with any dance styles with similar names in the US.

It's not jive tempo, more like quickstep tempo, so any bouncy quickstep should do provided it is 'in sequence'.

Sequence dancers expect 4 bars intro, then 16 bar phrasing throughout. The version of the Van Morrison track I have has an 8 bar intro, and fades out 8 bars into the last sequence, so it is not ideal but would work OK.

@sheila2033, have you tried some of the more recent releases by Richard Keeling, Larry Green or David Last? Or are you looking for something more out of the ordinary?

Quickstep is faster than jive or swing, but maybe not faster than some of the fast Lindy stuff.

Cindy Swing is most definitely a sequence dance. Good fun, easy to learn. Any charleston-type music goes well. Try "Anything goes"

Try "Waiting for the Robert E Lee" at 48 Bars
