Hello, I am new to Premium Membership and have been very pleased with the info available, however, I am unable to find anything re the Standard Tango Stop Lock Step. Is there video and/or Lady's chart available anywhere? Thanks for any help.

The Stop Lock is an Int'l style variation, considered "open" or "above gold". At the moment, we feature all of the figures of the international syllabus, bronze through gold, but nothing above that yet. Our only variations are in the American style. So we probably won't officially have a Stop Lock until we do a film shoot of Int'l variations.

In the meantime, I'll try to whip up a quick video lesson on my iPad for your reference.

Thank you for your speedy response. I have the step in my new (Pro-Am) Open Gold choreography and am trying to "get it" and would appreciate any extra help (although I am feeling better with it since my last class)!

FWIW the figure is charted, in detail, in Hearn's "A Technique of Advanced Standard Ballroom Figures", 2004 (p176-7)
