Hi! I'm in need of some help. I've always been so completely fascinated by ballroom dancing. I've always loved it and imagined myself being one of the beautiful women out on the floor dancing away. I love latin dancing the best. My fiance and I are getting married in a year and we have this song that we absolutely love. I would love to take dance lessons and see if I could find someone to choreograph a dance for us to include the samba and cha-cha. We want to use it for our first dance. What do you think about this? Do you think an instructor would be willing to do this? Is it a common thing done? Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm afraid we will just get laughed at by a professional. I've had some dance experience in the past, but not ballroom. We both have great rythym, though.:)

Stef: Any "Pro" or "Instructor" should be happy to oblige you and you fiance' in your quest. Should there be any snickering or laughing at you then my suggestion is to move on to another teacher. You must be prepared though to learn some basics first in order to complete your goal.If your idea is to impress your guests once then stop dancing I would discoursage the idea. If however, you both want to go on to be social dancers, then Katy bar the door, go for it.
