I was wondering if anyone would be able to help
me with finding a decent dance studio in new haven area of connecticut. I am interested in taking ballroom lessons. I have no previous experience and I am not familiar with any of the studios located in the new haven area.
I have heard of studios such as fred Astaire,
Arthur Murray, lets dance in rhythm and studio IV. Would anyone be able to provide some feedback so that I can select a good place to begin the lessons? any help would be appreciated

Call Connecticut Ballroom, 860-533-1889. Stephen Hevenor and Larinda McRaven teach in a studio in Milford.

Hello Tikiidol,

I happen to live and dance in Connecticut and I may be able to help you out a bit. Tell me, how far are you willing to travel? Have you visited any of the studios you just mentioned? Do you have any specific goals in mind for your dancing? Don't be afraid to try them out since they all have inexpensive introductory offers.

I would like to stay in the new haven area. I don't have any specific goals except to learn the basic techniques. This is actually a gift for my boyfriend. He has always wanted to learn so I was thinking about lessons so that he and I can learn the basics. Once we learn them and get a feel for it, then we could decide if we want to continue.
