Randomness is great! Haha- I've been dancing tap, jazz, and ballet since I was 4, so dance had always been a part of my life. Then about two years ago (I was 13) I was in my pajamas flipping channels and came across Women's Entertainment. I don't ever watch that channel, but what I saw looked like magic to me--it was the last 20 minutes of Strictly Ballroom and the famous paso doble. At that moment I called my mom on her cell and I said "that is what I want to do!" Now I'm having success competing and I know I will be ballroom dancing for the rest of my life!

thats so cool!
that was a good movie.
i started when my best friend brought me to her studio's showcase. At the time...i was a tumbler..and loved it so much that i considered joining a team. I had never seen ballroom dancing before...in fact...i dont think i had even heard of it. But when i saw the first dance of the night (i believe it was swing) i thought...this is where i belong. i want to do this. so at the end of the summer i quit tumbling and started taking lessons. it was the best decision i have ever made, and im so grateful that my friend introduced me to this sport because it has completely changed my life.
