Is there an early rise in the weave in order to float the two and four.

Four of the weave doesn't float in waltz time, it's a rising step after 3's lowering. It only floats in foxtrot timing.

Cdroge. I have always been taught as the man to float counting down up. up. The next three beats are for the lady to ,take over, float if you like to call it that. In other words , my turn her turn. Never the two at the same time.

I should have said. to float(or hover) between the 2,3 and the 5,6. (four) was a mistake. Onlooker ,you are refering to something else I think ,inside and outside of turns, we call it' you and me. By float(drift) and perhaps Hover(slight flight) I mean "the previous swing and body momentum carries us on in flight with no (or little)work on our part. I believe there is an early rise or a quicker body movement to get us on the two and five a little early so that we can drift. The weave is so hard to do with EASE from a whisk.

Cdroge. I also do not like a Reverse Weave from a Whisk. It is much better from an Open Impetus.
