west coast swing and lindy hop?????????HELP

I have been doing east coast swing and other styles for almost a year now and I would like to know what is the basic step for West coast swing and Lindy hop in the simpliest terms.thanks

Since noone else has replied, here goes:

East Coast= triple, triple, rock step (6 count= 1&2, 3&4, 5,6)

Lindy= triple, rock step, triple, rock step (8 count= 1&2, 3-4, 5&6, 7-8)

West Coast, I believe, begins with a rock step, and uses either 6 count or 8 count, depending.... Perhaps usually 6 count.

Note that the triples are not triplets; that is, they are not evenly timed. The 2nd step of a triple is actually the last 1/4 of the first step.
