To be a judge

You are judging a Modern Waltz. There are twelve couples on the floor.Six are to be selected. You have never seen any of them before, or their name or their reputation. You have one minute thirty seconds to select. What is the first thing you would look for. And the second and the third. I would point out that you must have a game plan. I made a point of saying that none of the couples are known. Because many judges pre -judge. That means that they are picking on reputation and not on what is before them. It is a bit of a joke but a judge once picked a couple for the next round and they weren't even in the arena.
