hello

I really need peoples'opinion regarding dance partner issue. I have had a good dance partner who is not intersted in competing. We aggree that practice toghter, but no competition. I am happy at the beginning. and now I realize that I miss competition so much. I went to tough school, worked high pressure enviroment, all my life was challenging.I feel I also need challenge of my dancing.Just practice for fun, no competition made me feel depress recently.

Q1.Is it against dancing echiket if I had two dance parnter? one is just practice and another one is for competition.

Q2.Should I sprit my cureent dance partner first than start looking for new dance partner? I thought I found the right dance partner for me then think curent dance partner later. Is it rude?

Is dance partner relationship like boyfriend and girlfriend relationship? (means you have to split first, then find another dance partner) or business partner? (means get new job first before we quite previous job)
FYI: no romance between me and dance partner.

Q3.Sould I enjoy just dancing? I should not think competition? I don't care the result. I am not intersted in being the best, but I want to do my best.and competition give me some motivation for dancing....but maybe am I wrong? Sould I love dance as dance is?

Thank you for reading such a long questions. I know It sounds a little silly, but serious for me.If someone answer or give me some tips, I am very appliciated.
