Lets hear your imagery ideas. Example. When dancing those important first three steps(prep, one .two) of the waltz I put myself In the right mood by thinking about how I want to interpritate the waltz,if I want to dance softly I tell my wife to imagine that we are dancing on a thin pane of glass, this gets me realy concentrating on how I place my feet. If I want to be the smoothest dancer on the floor then I will think about moving my body in one speed like a car in cruise control, when I go into a line I will have an image of the Hilliers dancing that line.

Dave. I agree with that. A professional friend of mine used to put a video of a major competition on . He then pictured himself on the screen in the dance dancing among all the champions. Unfortunately not everybody has the necessary imagination to do this. For a start it is necessary to know the routine inside out.
