Hi, Firstly I do not have the knowlege that Don and Laura have with regards to the various associations and politics, however from a business perspective the size of the prize money impacts upon the depth of the competition and in turn the number of spectators. Sponsors want people to "watch" and hence there needs to be quality to hold the viewer. The tough part is removing the obstacles which I believe sit with various associations. These sought of obstacles also keep good people away who do not support groups where there is friction, inefficiencies and a lack of organisation. The right sponsors and depth of competitors will come together when the industry can come together as a unified body. This is a my business perspective.
