Changing Moods

A very recent comment by Brian Watson that he made during a competition from Czechoslovakia. In Latin you only have a few seconds to switch characters from Samba to Rumba and so forth. This training can only be done in practise in the studio.

I agree, its very important. You have to sort of turn on a switch the second you hear the song of the next dance playing. This is also very evident and important in standard when switching from waltz to tango and from tango to foxtrot. You have to totally commit yourself in mood and feeling to the next dance.
