Height of Dancers

Hello I am just curious. I wonder if anyone knows the average heights of professional balroom dancers? I notice that most of them seem to be shorter in stature.

Some dancers like Riccardo and Joanne in latin and William and Alessandra in standard are very short. I haven't seen them in person though, so I couldn't tell you their exact heights. Still there are taller dancers- Warren Boyce is 6'4, Kristi is 5'7, Jonathan and Katusha are pretty tall, Slavik is about 5'10 maybe 5'11 I think. Bryan Watson is 6'3 and Carmen is 5'6. Eugene and Maria are tiny- he is no taller than 5'5 she is maybe 5'1 with heels. Gioa Cerasoli and Domenico and very short as well. I guess all the others are in between!

Hi, since you seems to know about Slavik, do you know where he teaches, etc.?

I'm not sure where he teaches, especially since he split with Karina. I saw him performing at a nearby comp, but he wasn't coaching here. I've heard that he visits certain studios in New York (I think King's Dancesport, Ballroom on Fifth, and the studio that Eddie Simon has) and wherever he's competing, but I don't think he's a resident teacher anywhere. We have to see what country he and Elena are going to compete for!
