I have only been dancing for few month and i am unable to train outside class because i need a partner. Any suggestions on how to work on my skills without a partner?

Hey,

I have been doing dancing for years now but my partners have always been not bothered to reherse and so i keep coming 3rd or 4th in competitions when i no i can do better. The easiest way that i learned to dance with or without a partner was to buy dance music and practise the steps in my own house. It was fun and i came 1st place in the singles.

Bye

I practice alone at home. Try to put in a couple of hours every day before bedtime. I dont always find the time but I make up for it when I find some more time on a different day.
I go through the steps I have learned and work on those I feel I am behind. When unsure wether I do it right or wrong I make a mental note to ask my instructor.

I don't always work with music. Or I start without and when I am sure I know what I am doing try to do it with.

And I like to try and work out continuity for the dance parties. See what I could do in what order for the specific dance floor.
