Juice,

Do you know of a good plan for eating 4 to 6 small meals a day? One that I can see on the net?

I'm 53. Last summer I couldn't fit into size 12 and vowed to lose some weight. I'm now a size 6-8 . In fact ,I didn't want to lose this much. My secret.. I eat less and I'm not hungry. Just goes to show me how much I was overeating . I didn't increase my amount of physical activity. And I drink water, too. I'm healthy and I feel great!

The key with eating is in addition to a balanced diet to eat smaller portions more often. You need to eat until you are content (about 80% full- no longer hungry) as opposed to stuffing yourself because overeating expands the stomach.

Imlovinit,

You are good to share your secret. I am starting with the water and then going to start the eating less and see how that goes. I have been going up and down and Iwas losing hope because of my age. How long have you kept it off?

Get the EXCELLENT book by Bill Phillips called "Eating for Life". He also wrote the "Body for Life" book. I would also take up Salsa dancing and dance it alot. Someone in your area might even offer Salsa Aerobics.

Hi Indy

What is this about Salsa Aerobics? Where do they do that? Never heard about this?
