Im soon to be married and we are going to dance a Waltz . Does anyone have any suggestions ? Can be with or without words. I feel the instrumentals are more romantic but I think my fiancee prefers words so any suggestions would be welcome !

If you go to the "shopping" section of this site, choose music CD's and select Waltz, you will be presented with a list of about 400 tracks from dancing CDs. You can listen to short segments of every one. Find a tune you like, vocal or otherwise. Of course, if you're having a band to play for you, they need to be included in the choice of tune

Jeff: John Tesh on his Grand Passion CD has a cut titled "Give me forever I do". I cant quite remember the vocalist but I think it is Peabo Bryson. It is beautiful. Owen

My favourid and which I would love to dance at my wedding if I ever get to that point would be "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" You find it in the shopping section here on "The Ultimate Ballroom Album 2" (you can listen into songs at the shopping thingie. Its basically a ballroom adaptation of Nino Rota's romeo and juliet ... the one that was used a lot during ice skating championships this year (if you watched those). Anyway its a very beautifull atmospheric instrumental piece - and my instructor once said to me while we were dancing it that "This song makes me feel as if I was in the play" Ok I know romeo and juliet die in the end but you know she ment the romantic bit ;)

Another nice option I think would be "Moon River" perhaps... old time classic and you can find it both with lyrics or in a ballroom instrumental version.

I'd suggest have a look at the shopping part on this site and listen to some samples maybe you find something.

And if you go to a dance studio the instructor will usually sit down with the couple before starting the program and listen through a lot of songs so you can pick a handfull and while working on a small choreography with your fiancee you can pick your favourid.
