If u haven't already started learning the salsa ask someone at a salsa club for the basic steps and once you have them make up ur own moves remembering to keep in mind that u must stay in contact with ur partner for most of the dance. (u can let go for turns ect.)

If ur not sure then maybe research salsa to get an idea of the type of dance it is, the types of moves and the way to make them go with the character of the dance. (eg. sexy, cheeky ect). I also think that there are sites that have salsa moves on them

good luck!!

How young are they ?

Keep in mind, salsa dancing is mostly take place or danced in night-clubs. If you are ok with atmosphere like "meat-market or pick-up joint" or being hit on by drunken men or women.
Then again, many of my friends have fun and enjoy going to salsa club. I guessed it'a all up to you.

Learning to dance is good for everyone, young and old.

Can't help you on places to learn in CT. If there's a will.... there's a way. Keep searching and you shall find.
