Hello,

Do you know about plans to update the Syllabus of international dances in this site?

I means when videos regarding advanced steps will be available?

Thanks.

I'm doing it constantly. I just added beginning bronze Rumba, Paso and Jive over the last 3 weeks. Over the next two weeks I will also be adding beginning bronze Cha Cha and Samba.

Cha Cha and Samba are my last two beginning bronze level dances... Once I've completed those, I will have completed ALL of the beginning bronze syllabus, and I can finally move on to intermediate bronze. And likewise, once ALL intermediate dances have been completed, then I will move on to full bronze.

However, realize that I'm not just doing the 5 Int'l Latin dances. I have 21 dances in all (9 American style, 10 Int'l style, and 2 social). So the entire bronze syllabus will take me quite a long time to complete. I'll be adding one dance/level per style, so about every 4th or 5th dance will be Int'l Latin. For example, here's a tentative schedule (subject to change):

1. Int'l Waltz
2. American Cha Cha
3. Int'l Samba <<===============
4. American Tango
5. Salsa
6. Int'l Quickstep
7. American EC Swing
8. Int'l Rumba <<================
9. American Foxtrot
10. Lindy Hop
11. Int'l Tango
12. American Bolero
13. Int'l Paso Doble <<==============
14. American Viennese
....etc

As you can see from the example, each Int'l Latin dance will be spread out amongst dances of other styles. This, I think, provides the best balance until all dances have been uploaded.

Oh, and don't forget that the intermediate bronze & above levels will be for members only. So if you haven't yet created a user account, now would be a good time to do so.

Thats a very impressive list of dances. But do they learn the difference between a Reverse Turn in The Foxtrot and the Reverse Turn in the Foxtrot. By that I mean in the Waltz, commence to rise at the end of one.In the Foxtrot rise at the end of one. If we continue this further there is a vast difference to how step two is danced. This to me is learning the Basics correctly.I had a hard teacher and then met up with another who was equally so.
