Mixers at dances?

Hello,

I'm interested in reading about new mixers to use at dances. The two that I have seen used are:

"The Line" - The women interested in dancing line up in one corner of the room, and the men take the first partner in line to dance. After dancing around the room the men leave their partner at the end of the line and take whichever partner is at the front of the line. This usually lasts through 2-3 songs.

"Hat Dance" - Like musical chairs. Everyone couples up and gets on the dance floor, but one couple is given a set of plastic hats. While the music is playing everyone dances, exept for the couple with the hat. They have to go break up two other couples because if the music stops while you have the hat, you are out! Dancing continues until only one couple remains. They usually win a prize!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Brian
