I'm in charge of instructing and providing music for a prom at a small private school. I have some experience but not a ton. 20 swing moves. Just now learning salsa...yikes...prom in a month....i need to teach juniors and seniors enough to go have fun on their prom night. they chose to have a "ballroom prom" i need ideas on what music to play and any salsa video you can recommend for fast basic learning for beginners...
thanks

Swing and Salsa are not ballroom.

Waltz, foxtrot, rhumba, cha cha etc are ballroom... swing and salsa are American street dances - they can be a part of the mix, but in a real ballroom dance, you might hear a swing or salsa every 1/2 hour or so.

You'll do well to find a dj from the local dance studio to provide the music. And a month is not enough time to instruct more than a basic movement or two.
