Some years ago I read on this forum a topic about Feather step in fox trot. Ones discussed whether its timing is 1234 or 2341...? Now I would like to read it again but I cannot find out this topic. Please, help me !

Vodah. Jonathan wtote a peice on this. I have it somewhere. If you would like to look from another source go to
Tid bits number 128 on Dancesport UK.
I was thinking of bringing this up myself. As far as I can read or understand to change the timing to 2341 means I am using a Quick on the first step( instead of a slow) A quick on the second step ( as usual) and a Slow on the third step( most unusuall )
I now have one beat ( a Quick ) for my first step on the Reverse Turn ( which is normally a Slow. I now have to continue with that timing which will make my fourth step of my Reverse a Quick. How on earth did dancers dance since the Foxtrot came into being with the the normal S QQ S. You will no doubt have noticed that there would have to be an intro on beat one..One more for the rubbish bin. Best wishes.
