Who can remember a few years ago when the man for Latin looked as if he was more dressed to be a Jockey riding a horse in the Kentucky Derby. That was untill Sammy Stopford competed in all black. Does anyone also remember those stupid cat suits the guys wore. In those days in my oppinion it did nothing for the image of Latin Dancing. Was anybody around in those days that would have been prior to about 1989.

Musicaly will there ever be another priod like the late 40's and 50's. We still dance today to songs from the shows like Carousel. Oklahoma. South Pacific Kiss me Kate. Gigi. My Fair Lady. and the list can go on.
To get back to the Latin cloths. Last years Australian, to open the show there was a number where the garments were as they were worn a few years before. The compare, a lady a former world professional champion said . Would you believe that's how we dressed for Latin in those days. To say the least they sparkled. The men also.
