Hello everyone!

I am 16 and love dancing! I started when I was in 3rd grade in ballet jazz and tap about three years ago I found that latin ballroom was my passion. The only problem is that my parents wont help pay for it .. and you all now how much money it is to dance even one a week. I am working two jobs and also going to college part time. I was just wondering if any of you and a suggestion about how i could dance and become a real dancer?? thanks

The college you're attending may offer courses/classes in dance. Many do now. Check into that.

If you intend to make dancing a career (teaching dance), many studios offer training to their staff. Look around for local studios that might be hiring.

You do have options - you just have to be creative sometimes. Good luck!

Is there anything you could sell? On eBay or elsewhere?

Medical and graduate schools usually pay for research subject participation. For example, my med school is looking for healthy adults, ages 18-40 for a sleep study. $50 per session plus cab fare.

The studio I attend gives free training to 3 assistant instructors in exchange for helping teach and hosting at weekly dance parties.
