Hello! I need to buy ballroom shoes and I live in the New York/New Jersey Area. I want to try to find a Capezio store that sells them in New York but any other store that anyone can recommend that would be great!!!! Thanks!!! :O)

There is a Capezio store in Manhattan. Can't remember the exact location but it was south of Central Park. Visited it when on vacation in NYC.

Worldtone Dance Shoes is located at 230 7th Avenue, 2nd floor, in Manhattan. They have a large selection of shoes, and will order for you if they don't have your size in stock. Their service is very good as well. Good luck.

Talking about shoes. I tried a pair of the latest Gents Super Dance shoes on this last weekend. Both Latin and Modern have a sprung heel which even on carpet I could feel as though there was a telescopic shock absorber under my heel. Also the shoe can be compressed into a ball and thrown onto the table will jump back into its correct shape. The advantage with this shoe is that every part of the foot can feel the floor. But the price A$230.I didn't think to look at the ladies shoes or prices.
