Men's dance tuxes

Is there no where you can buy a man's tux outside of the UK? If we take his nice wool tux and have it altered, are there tips we can tell the tailor? We understand that the shoulder pads need to go so there will be a nice line. Do we talk out all shoulder padding? Does everyone wear Latin pants with their smooth tux?

The quality and price were great. Ordering is done online or over the phone so getting the measurements right is the main challenge. In my case everything fit very well except for the sleeves, which needed to be shortened. I had a local tailor fix the sleeves. So it's worked out well.
