Gentleman:

step 1: right foot (RF) behind left foot (LF) in a Cuban cross position*

step 2: LF to the side

steps 3 to 14: repeat steps 1 & 2 six times

step 15: close RF to LF

Lady:

step 1: LF to the side

step 2: RF in front of the LF turning the toe out (i.e. turning it to the right)

steps 3 to 14: repeat steps 1 & 2 six times

step 15: LF to the side

* The right toe is opposite or just past the left heel; the right toe is turned out (i.e. turned to the right). In this figure the toe will be close to the heel.

It should be made clear which dance are we refering to. Is it the Rumba or is it the Cha. The Natural Top in each have different footwork.
