I'm looking for popular Mambo music. Latin and non-latin. I know there is a Jimmy Buffett song but I can't remember which one.

if you want mambo, then you have to go back to pre 70s releases.. there are 1000s to choose from..T. Puente. Tito Rodriguez, Hector Lavoe.. the list is endless .... got to Descarga.com .
mambo is a generic term..it comes in several forms ( musically ) from Charanga to Guaguanco

Mambo can be taught with a rock forward on the 2 count, or simply q.q.s timing as done in "Shall we dance" Music having that style timing besides Mambo # 5 includes - The Ketchup Song; Tequila; Mambo Jambo; Multiplication: Chelo Cha Cha: Lowrider to name a few. Some of these are quick & some slower depending on the musicians. Cheers,
