Name of a waltz step

I just took some ballroom dance lessions, and we were taught a dance step. I am trying to find the video of it but can not. Maybe the name is different.

He called it a front to back. It started with a shortened underarm turn and then moved to a sort of progressive step where our backs were together, then we both contuned to turn back to face each other. Kind of like we both spun

Can someone tell me tha actual name or a link to the video of that move?

Thanks.

Hi Glazer,
Your description reminds me of the early version of dancing the Hand-to-Hand, which is now considered to be a basic figure in the Latin branch.

Open Counter-Promenade Changes. Figure #17 in our American style Waltz syllabus. Video clips are coming soon.

Luv2dance. i think you have given the correct answer for Glazetr's question.
For his benifit I will copy from the Technique Book. This follows either a Spot Turn or a Underarm Turn to the man's right.
After the Chasse step 6 is RF back in Open Promenade Position.. Then Chasse. It can then be repeated .
The name again is Hand to Hand if you are looking it up. That step 6 stepping back behind is refered to as a Backward Walk which it is. Good Luck.
