IDSF Pess Release

Oct 26th 2009. The present Professional arm of the IDSF which is the IPDSC will be disolved in June 2010 and will become the new Professional Division of the IDSF called WDSF. This can be found on the IDSF site under Press release.
Very intesting comments on this can be found on Dance Sport UK. under the heading of "Are US Pros to be run by their Amateur Society". Sunday 8th Nov 2009

It would appear that this is to be throughout the IDSF's world, and not just the USA. I would have expected to see more response than this. There is no doubt in my mind that many of you Professionals have already looked at the IDSF's web-site to check if the information is indeed there. And now as usual are going to sit back say nothing.

What is the significance of this change? This isn't a sarcastic question. I am really curious. Could someone please clarify for me?
