A very nice gesture, but as Telemark says, nothing to worry about. This site is not all barefoot in the park, or walking along the shoreline looking for sea shells. On occasion, a perfect storm brews and some things are said out of passion, the thirst for knowledge and the desire to improve. Terence, for example, has been in some excellent skirmishes the past few years, but he's still standing and contributing, and is highly appreciated. Same goes for Telemark, and many others. If you are supremely confident in your knowledge and experience, you are going to carry yourself slightly different from those who are unsure and less experienced. When the two meet, depending on the circumstances, the written word can make things sound a little more emotional or stand-offish than their original intent.
All in all, I get the impression that if everyone on this site was in the same room, or dance hall, at the same time, we'd all get along quite well, and we'd see degrees of talent and expertise ranging from just starting with the first intro steps, to someone with 40 or 50 plus years of experience and teaching. In short, it's what makes this a vital message board.
