Ettiquette

Has anyone noticed that in this week's variation Jonathan seems to be chewing gum?
Please correct me if I am wrong, I hope this trend does not move over to International dancing.

That's pretty good eye sight, to catch that. I'm usually looking at the feet and arm movements. But, from where I am sitting, Jonathan could be blowing bubbles with that gum, and it wouldn't bother me. He's providing a great service on this site, and a little chewing gum during a tango is no big deal. Might even be worth trying.

If you get eight or ten hours into the day without eating you're doing your partner a favor with the gum :~}

Jonathan is not chewing in time with the music!

I just did a tour in Turkey where a guy behind me was masticating furiously with his mouth open whilst the tour guide was talking. Needless to say I tried to stand on the opposite side of the group or behind him for future stops.

I should like to throw it out to the ladies, Jonathan aside - If a guy comes up to you furiously chewing and says "Hey babe, you wanna bogie with me" what whould you do?
