REMEDY!!!!! If your dance shoes smell really bad. Try putting crystal zen deodorant On your feet before you wear them. The. Crystal zen Even comes with a small applicator so you can get in between your toes. In the packet there is also a small size for competitions and other travel. When I'm not wearing my dance shoes I put a small dryer sheet in each one and store them in my shoe bag. I used to be able to smell my shoes all the way from the backseat even when they were in the shoe bag. FINALLY solved!!!! No more worrying every time someone gets in my car:)

Bi Carb of Soda. Which is Baking Soda. Put a dash in your shoes after use.

Soap is even better. Clean feet don't smell.

Clean feet do smell, just like armpits, when they get sweaty. I have found the best way to get rid of the odor in my satin standard shoes is to wash them with antibacterial soap and put them out in the sun to dry.
