do anybody know what happened to DESMOND ELLISON after his win in 1959 in the worlds championship.I knew his parents in the 1950s and have a picture of him dancing.

I saw him dance on several occasions...If memory serves me, he won as an Amat.

Never reached the same pinnacle as a Prof .I kinda lost touch after moving to the States .

I went to his dance school which was in Poole in Dorset,his then dance partner was the lovely Val Forster 1968/69.I Think the school folded early 70's,he had two children as far as I am aware,Christine and Phillip,have no idea where they are now,hope that this helps a little.Best regards from Paul Taylor.
