We are practicing our quickstep and are having trouble with the tipple. Any advice before we can get back to our teacher? Even the quick/slow pattern would help, I think. Thanks.

Darn - I can't delete that message! I went way, waaay back in the messages and found the old discussion from when I didn't have the foggiest notion what a tipple was So thanks to those who might have answered but I have loads of info to work with now. What I need to know now is how on earth I remembered a post from 2002???

The real question is: How did you even find a message dating back to 2002? I haven't programmed in a search feature yet! Did you actually click the "next page" button repeatedly until you found it?

Anyway, just so you know, there is a search feature coming soon. And the nice thing is, it will search not only the message board, but the learning center, lessons, dictionary, and help files, too. So a search for "Tipple Chasse" will get you a definition, a description, any video clips or lessons based on the step, and any discussion threads.. even from as far back as 2002.

So I'm glad you found it, because instead of spending another half hour writing about the Tipple, I can use that time to work on the search tool that bring that information to you automatically.

Regards,
Jonathan

Yes Jonathan, I just kept clicking away until I found it I did search for a search and now I know why I couldn't find it! Thanks for the news that a search feature is on its way. That will be much easier and quicker.

The good news is that the advice in the old thread was useful, we reviewed the step and were able to do it very nicely in class this week
