Going to the Fan Position

Ladies are you having difficulty placing yourself in the the Fan Position. Do you feel you are more likely to do a Back Basic . Then take a look at the step RF on beat three after, for instance a Hip Twist. It must be taken across the line of the body, and turn at the end of the third beat , not turn into beat three. You will find that if you take this step straight forewards. After you turn, your feet will be crossed up. If you take it as above they will not be crossed up. This allows you to to do a Backward Walk with your foot not having to go around your supporting foot. There are other places where this can be used also.
