Yup. I tightened up the security quite a bit last week. There were too many websites, including some search engines, linked directly to the media instead of through our pages on Ballroomdancers.com. As of Monday we'll be moving our media to a new server, effectively breaking all those links in one swift motion. This new server also gives us a lot more space for the same price as the old, so we'll be able to add heaps of additional media.

Although you will no longer be able to save the clips, they will be available on DVD shortly. The DVD of Rhythm variations is going to the presses this week, and the Smooth DVD will follow just a couple of months after that.

Another reason for the added security is that we are preparing for the addition of a members-only area. In May we will film the entire Bronze syllabus for Smooth, Standard, Latin and Rhythm, making it available online to members. The current syllabus clips will be replaced, but the same 4-5 steps in each dance will still be avaiable to non-members.

Membership will also include the ability to view past variations, so between membership and the DVD's, there won't be any reason to download them.
