this may sound totally like wierd coming from a 15 year old but i know what your talking about its the left lunge right? in international tango?
the left lunge is an oversway, your sawy is to the left.
the man foot positions are: right foot back toe turned in, left foot back to end to the side and slightly back of promenade position, hold the position the right leg remains extended to the side.
the lady foot positions are: left foot forawrd, right foot end side and slighty forawrd in promenade position.
