It's hard to list stretching exercises here - you should go to a local gym and look at what they have there. If you can join a gym - even on a one-month-only basis - you will learn how to stretch. there are loads of good books too that will give you pictorial versions so you know you're doing it properly.
Bear in mind that some people seem to be 'naturally' tight in their muscles. When i was in my teens (i'm amazed i can remember back that far!!) i had a friend who couldn't sit on his haunches - the back of his calf wouldn't meet the back of his thigh. No matter what he did.
