Hi,

I'm from Europe, but I hope I can explain that to you in English:

Don't practise on a slippery floor in latin, wetting your soles helps. For the spiral put your weight on the left foot, and point/stretch your free (right) foot, then turn as much as you can while you have to remain standing on the left foot (don't move it!), also your weight has to remain on this foot.

When you can't turn no more, you can move your free, right leg in the direction you want to dance, NOW is the time when you can put the weight from the left foot to the right foot. Don't forget to always point the free foot and stretch your legs/knees in latin.

I hope you could follow my explanation.
