Re: searching for virtual bronze partner

I'm a female, so if you are a man, I'm not sure how much help I could be. I have a female instructor and she dances the male part during my private lessons. As far as remembering things, I don't alway so my teacher sends me an e-mail with the names of the steps and directions etc. This is an example of my bronze foxtrot routine that she sent me. She helped me get familiar with dance terms like dw, diagonal wall, lod, line of dance, cbm contra body movement, etc.

Here is the routine for foxtrot. I have broken down the timing and the swing as well......

Prep Step Beat 8

Feather step 1234 ( SQQ) left side swing ( left side fwd in CBM )

Reverse turn ( heel turn ) SQQ rotation only

Feather finish SQQ Left side swing ( left side fwd in CBM )

Three step SQQ right side swing ( right side fwd partner in line )

natural turn SQQ rotation only

Impetus SQQ rotation only

Feather finish ending SQQ Left side swing, same as above

She offered to do the same thing in her group classes as well, so I guess it would depend on your instructor and whether or not they would be willing to help you by writing down the steps and timing etc.

For now, I'm bronze level in tango, foxtrot, rumba, cha cha and working on waltz.
