I don't to often get involved in showcases, not my thing, but it really is not a shame.

When showcase rehersals are in progress it really brings the whole studio together. A common goal is developed, new friendships happen, and for many can be an exciting and rewarding time. You can just feel it in the air as it is all beig pulled together.

Sure, the studios make a lot of money on this event, Im sure, but for many students it is money well spent. How different really is it for thoes of us who compete and choose to spend our money purchasing lessons to prepare for a comp... Just a different avenue, really.
