Don. This an interesting one. The timing that is. The timing is down as 1& 2 3. I think the reason might be that we have to lower on 3 & which is basic technique. For me to do 12&3 and then an & to lower seems a little to rushed and does affect my next step which with me is a Double Side Cross 12&3& and then the Fallaway. The Fallaway is 1&23. All Waltz time.
If it is of any interest in the Foxtrot a Fallaway in a new routine we are learning has four quicks including the slip pivot. But I think whatever is comfortable for the dancer , obeys the Basic technique, and looks good. Why not.
