Anonymous. Foxtrot Slow = two beats.
RF first step Feather Step. Starting ln a down position and rising at the end of the step which has two beats. The heel is on the floor on one , then the knee bends as the toe lowers to the floor and the body weight arrives over the now supporting leg on two. Believe me you will need two beats to do the above. A skilled dancer may use the first step RF as a quick, after a Change of Direction. A Left side Feather after a normal Feather has to be a quick on the LF. These are always done for a reason and isn't the norm. Don't sit for any examinations otherwise you wont get past first base with your definition of a Slow.
