Anonymous. The DVD's by Slavik are one for each dance on the Inovation Series.
Don't be put off by the Japanese writing that is all over the cover. Its all English inside. And one disk for each dance is plenty believe me. If you have real trouble locating one try. WWW.dancelifeinternational.com.au They are very quick and efficiant with their services. I have both the Rumba and Cha Cha and can recomend both. I have been dancing some considerable time.I haven't met anything better as of yet.Best Wishes

Dance Vision says that they have produced a totally new dvd with karina and Slavik that will come out next week.
It is syllabus work with variations through the gold level. This is a different product than Innovations. Can't wait to get it--I wonder if it is the similiar to Innovations or possibly an improvement of it. These guys move like no one else.

Anonymous. Disks with variations on are two a penny. What I like about the Inovation Collection is in the Cha Cha how they go through everything First they give a group. Then, Dance with timing. Man's timing ( solo) Lady's timing ( solo ) Dance to the music. Poise. Body weight.and movement. Footwork. Leg action and leg movement. Body action and leg. Body action and movement. Characterization of Cha Cha movement. All that and a group to pracice. I think the idea is that this lot comes first, and not to jump into that deep end to soon. Which is what we usually do.

I just received and reviewed the Int. Rumba DVD with Corky Ballis narrating and Savik and Karina dancing the figures.

The DVD is 131 minutes and Karina and Slavik don't say one word--Corky does all the talking. Wonderful details of technique, Bronze-Gold Syllabus. This is the best DVD production that I have ever seen. With Corky narrating it probably helps them focus on their dance technique. It also demonstrates some variations of syllabus work. Beautiful people with incomparable movements.

I received the Samba DVD too--103 minutes. I think the rest of the Latin dances will be available next week at Dance Vision.

I have watched in detail the Rumba and Samba dvd's with Slavik. Slavik moves like nobody else. His clean and clear technique make the dances look so much better to me and the dvd is like having 40 lessons.

Corky Ballis in his past videos looks like a clumsy horse or mule compared to Slavik. Plus they are very short and half the time he acts like a crack head. He has matured some and does a much better job commenting on these dvd's.

Anyone that does latin dancing should have these dvd's--they will never go out of style--not anytime soon.
What beautiful dancers they are. Why didn't they ever win everything? They always got 2nd in Blackpool and etc.

There is a website that sells Slavik's and Karina's Innovations dvd set of 5 for $99. http://.wm-e-shop.com/product.
I think it's an Ukraine website. Has anyone purchased anything from this site and how did it work out if you did? These dvd's prices look too good to be true.
