Whilst we are on the subject of people who had an influence on dancing. Don't forget Sammy Stopford who was important enough to set an example which got the males out of that multi coloured gear wearing as many sequens as the lady. Some used to look more like a jockey than a dancer Then Sammy turned up wearing all black. It wasn't long before the others followed.
