i don't know exactly how does it works but i've got the same problem and... keeping my foots warm.. is what helps me:)
I usually have my foots a little bit colder than my body, and I suffered a lot because of this "pronation". But since I wear warm socks (I know it may seems weird or look strange for some:) I have to train really looong to feel THAT pain. And I never let them be cold, while learning or writing here:) Try. I also use this wedges at night. Great relief.
:)
