Dawn.International Jive. A Jive Chasse to the Left for the man and the Lady is. RF to side. LF half closes to RF. RF to side. This is usually counted Q a Q. It is sometimes counted 3 a 4. The Chasse can follow a Fallaway Rock or a Link which is usually counted Q Q or
1 2. If you want to get technical the accentuated beats on a real Jive disk are 2 and 4 and the beat values are 3/4 .1/4. 1. The Fallawy Rock Link has two beats. The Link has two beats. All of the above is from Wally Laird' s
I.T.D.A. Book.
If I was teaching I would count from the beginning Q Q. Q and Q. then to the Right Q and Q . Begin again. Eight steps in all, over Six beats. Usually the Jive is the easiest of all the dances to pick up music wise. Like every other dance. Instruction is the only way to go.Have fun
