Every AM is run slightly differently but at the school I work at, if there is an uneven amount of men and women it doesn't matter. All of the female teachers lead, and we dance with everyone at the parties, as well as our male teachers. Also, our students dance with everyone even if they are couples. They understand that being a new student is tough and go out of their way to ask new students to dance. If you're encountering this problem, I would ask why the teachers are not there at the party to help. That is why we're there
