Cal....Thank your for your frankness and for reminding me to just have fun with it. I did have fun! I think the whole experience is pretty overwhelming for a fairly newer dancer......so much overstimulation, with the actual dancing, the beautiful dresses everywhere, all the sparkle, the vendors and the pro shows!!! It's an experience like no other. I will do it again, and I will remember your words and take a deep beath!

The operative " word " , is open br.

It means exactly that !-- The rules ( if not a sanctioned event ) are really up to the organiser, and having ran many comps, its very difficult to sub divide the categories into too many parts ( solo dances would be common ! )

At this stage-- just enjoy the experience and remember -- its supposed to be FUN !!-- plenty of time for the more serious stuff .
